A young girl trying to leave her home finds it difficult in more than one way. After struggling to leave the house she was raised in she finds that it follows her wherever she goes, wreaking havoc and making it impossible for her to lead a normal life.
When she turns to face it, the house now appears submissive and harmless, but only until she turns away again. Eventually, finding the strength to hold it accountable, she turns to face the house only to find that it is now on her chest.
As she reaches inside herself to confront the damage caused by her home, followed by a transformative battle, she finds that once accepted and processed the past can be something to wear with pride rather than avoid in shame. Having found the strength to risk it all by leaving her old home and having dealt with the turmoil, she now is presented with the opportunity for a fresh start. We see her leaving her new home without trouble, ready to begin a new phase of her life.

People exiled from their homes, deprived of money and valuables, sent to prisons – that is how they are treated during a war. A witness to these dramatic events is a German mark banknote with a portrait of Clara Schumann. Passed from hand to hand, it is part of the war, emigration or illegal business. This depressing plasticine animation shows a grim wartime reality. The leitmotif of the wandering banknote allows the story to come full circle and leads to a slightly hopeful ending.

An Albanian family struggles to stay afloat and integrate in Switzerland. In the process, the learning difficulties of the youngest family member put the family to an additional test. The parents lack the time and money to support her in school. To prevent the thread from breaking, the older sister of the immigrant family takes on all the responsibility and puts her needs in the background.

"Women of Liberty" (2018), a documentary film directed by Lum Çitaku, is a testimony and a chronology of war, resistance and great sacrifice of Kosovo women as a crucial part of Albanians' movement for freedom and independence. The movie is based on numerous stories by participants in women's political movement, especially the activities and organization of protests in protection of freedom and independence. It covers fragments from critical moments of women's activities that culminated in massive protests during the years of armed struggle in Kosovo between 1997 - 1998, focused on the massive women protest - March for Drenica with the tag line "Bread for women and children of Drenica".

Shot in the Kosovar village of Nevokaze, it depicts the traditional lifestyle of an Albanian family numbering 117 members, all living under one roof and in great harmony. One of the finest examples of ethnographic film to come from this region, it has been called a ‘spiritual portrait of the nation’
