In 1970s Los Angeles, rebellious queer teen MARGARET gets thrown out of yet another foster placement and finds herself in the company of a mysterious social worker who’s tasked with finding her a new home before the break of dawn. At odds and forced to travel the city together, Margaret realizes that running may not be her only option.

In their short, Arnit Likaj and Jasmin Rai explore their feelings and thoughts about what it is like to be caught in between two cultures. They have a migrant background and do not feel like they completely belong in either Germany or their parents' home country.
In their short film they work with self-written and self-spoken texts in their native languages, while the production process in a potato farm is shown.
This short film is their first one.

She asked me where I was from. So I told her about a place far away from here. And about how we had to leave. Personal film about being (the child of) refugees in a digital age.

Hêlîn, Selin, Firat and Serhat are siblings who grew up in a village in central Switzerland. They carry their family living-room out into public space: first the colourful carpet, then the couch, last of all the hot Çay. A new story takes shape where anger and resilience find their place unfazed alongside othering and fear.

An elementary school sports day gets out of hand. A harmless argument between two children ends in death threats between the two fathers. The collective overload shakes an entire society and unfolds into a microcosm of chaos. Cause and effect of violence echo in a fragile social construct. A distant view of the everyday.
